Do you want to learn more about development and how it impacts Worthington? As a Building Worthington’s Future (BWF) Engaged member, you will hear about all aspects of development relative to respecting Worthington’s heritage, improving our quality of life, and ensuring the city’s continued economic vitality into the future. 

It is BWF’s primary goal for the Worthington community to be fully informed about the benefits and influence of development within our boundaries. Bimonthly monthly meetings focus on the latest in economic development approaches, such as what makes a development feasible, how a development is financed, and understanding community effects. Developers with upcoming projects in Worthington often share their plans and City Council and staff provide insight into how the City operates.

While the learning experience from being part of BWF is powerful, developing friendships with other members offers diverse insight as the group participates in dialog and advocacy that impacts our city’s future. 

BWF’s bylaws state that an engaged member be a resident of the Worthington School District and/or a Worthington business owner.
